About SU's Dance Marathon
Seattle University Dance Marathon dreams of a day when no child or family is affected by childhood illness. As a result of the incredible care and research at Seattle Children’s Hospital, SUDM is getting closer and closer to this dream. This year, Seattle University is Be The Light! for the kids at Seattle Children's Hospital. Seattle, we need your help to make childhood illness a thing of the past.
Our efforts to fundraise and raise awareness of Children's Uncompensated Care Fund and Cancer Immunotherapy culminate in an annual signature event, a 12-hour celebration. Attendees challenge themselves to participate for the entire 12 hours in order to demonstrate solidarity with the patients at Children's who can't take a break from their illnesses. The 14th annual Dance Marathon will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2021 at 10 AM to 10 PM. Bringing together hundreds of SU students and staff, patients and families from Seattle Children's, and local community members, The Dance Marathon features catered meals, performances, a photobooth, and a multitude of activities. At the end of the day, our fundraising total is announced. |
Who We Are
Dance Marathon is a nationwide youth-led philanthropy that benefits Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Seattle University's Dance Marathon (SUDM) is a student-led organization that specifically benefits Seattle Children's Hospital's Uncompensated Care Fund and Cancer Immunotherapy. Through the Uncompensated Care Fund, SUDM provides free lifesaving health care to patients at Seattle Children's who otherwise would not be able to afford care. We believe than no family with a sick child should ever have to worry about anything but their child's wellness, regardless of their ability to afford medical care. ![]() Get Involved
